About the Artist Elisabeth Zwick

Painting at the edge of control

Elisabeth Zwick is a contemporary painter and mixed-media artist from the Vinschgau region of South Tyrol, Italy. Her large-format acrylic works explore identity, belonging and the limits of control.

Formed in Taiwan, England, and the mountain valleys of her homeland, her practice draws on art therapy, Chinese painting traditions, and the visceral immediacy of acrylic on large canvas.
